Breeze Airways Benefits

Breeze Airways is a new airline with a lot of potential. They have a nice starting wage for flight attendants as well as comprehensive benefits. The starting wage is $22 per hour and can increase as your experience grows.

On all flights, you will receive water and snacks. For a little extra you can upgrade to Nicer or Nicest fare classes which include one beverage and snack.

Seating

Breeze Airways is the nation’s first and only NLCC, or Nice Low Cost Carrier. The airline operates a fleet of Embraer jets and is expanding to Airbus A220 aircraft. These new aircraft offer a more comfortable onboard experience. They feature seats with 39 inches of pitch and 20-5 inches of width in a 2-2 configuration, footrests, and in-seat USB and AC power outlets. Breeze also offers premium Straightaway cocktails and high-speed WiFi by Viasat on select flights.

Breeze is also focused on fostering community, through the creation of a values committee and listening sessions with employees. In addition, the company has taken steps to address racial equity and gender equality in the workplace.

The airline’s route network is smaller than that of bigger US airlines, but it offers a good mix of destinations. And unlike many other airlines, it allows you to book one-way trips, which can be a great option for road-trippers. Pilots can also earn seniority at the carrier more quickly than they would with larger carriers.

Check-in

Breeze Airways is a new airline that promises to offer “seriously nice” prices and service. It launched in mid-2021 to provide nonstop flights to destinations that were previously overlooked by other airlines. The airline currently operates Embraer jets and will soon add Airbus A220s to its fleet.

The airline offers a variety of fare options bundled and ala carte. The cheaper fares are called Nice and the more expensive ones are Nicer and Nicest. The Nicer fares include two checked bags and a carry-on, while the Nicest fares include priority boarding and seating in the airline’s premium cabin, Nice Ascent.

In addition to the affordable fares, the airline also offers free snacks and beverages on board. Additionally, passengers can earn 500 BreezePoints when they download the airline’s app. The airline’s fares do not include Wi-Fi connectivity or in-flight entertainment, but the company plans to install them on its A220 aircraft.

Baggage

Breeze Airways is a new low-cost airline that recently launched flights. The airline is focused on point-to-point routes and serves cities in the southeastern United States. Its initial route map includes 39 destinations with fares starting at $39. The airline also offers hub-skipping routes that allow passengers to fly to and from leisure destinations without changing planes.

Unlike some other airlines, Breeze Airways does not charge for the first checked bag or a personal item. However, the airline does have baggage rules and fees that vary depending on ticket type and frequent flier program membership. Its luggage policy has detailed specifications for size and weight.

In addition to a flat fee for baggage, Breeze also offers fare bundles that include checked bags and premium seat selection for an even lower rate. The airline also provides free water and snacks on every flight. However, the airline does not provide alcoholic beverages. It also does not have a phone number for customer service.

Flights

Breeze Airways is growing quickly. The budget carrier started with a handful of routes between secondary cities and now offers flights coast-to-coast on its Airbus A220 jets. In February, it added Hartford to its roster of bases, along with Norfolk, New Orleans, and Tampa. And in May, the airline started flying its first route on its newest aircraft type: the Airbus A220-300.

Its lowest-tier ticket, Nice, includes only a personal item, but the middle-tier Nicer fare allows for a carry-on bag and a checked bag and comes with seat assignments and a cancelation credit. The top-tier Nicest option is comparable to domestic first class.

Like many other airlines, flight attendants at Breeze receive comprehensive benefits. But there are some unique perks, too. For example, the airline offers shared housing for its crew members. There’s no other US airline with such a program. And the airline pays a monthly salary instead of pay based on hours flown.
